Cryogenic Gate Valve – Smooth Operation, Low Torque & Long-Life Performance

 Low temperature gate valves have the characteristics of light weight, pressure relief holes on the inlet side of the gate, optional long neck structure, and unaffected installation direction. Low temperature gate valve is one of the commonly used shut-off valves, mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline, and is not suitable for regulating the flow rate of the medium. Gate valves are suitable for a wide range of pressure, temperature, and diameter, especially for medium and large diameter pipelines. The connection methods for low-temperature gate valves include flange connection, threaded connection, and socket welding connection.
 Flange connected low-temperature gate valves are mainly used for connecting pipelines, fittings, and ancillary equipment. The flange connection is easy to disassemble and install, with good joint strength and tightness. It consists of flanges, bolts, nuts, and washers. By tightening the connecting bolts and compressing the sealing gasket on the flange contact surface, sufficient elastic-plastic deformation of the gasket is generated, and the uneven micro gaps between it and the flange compression surface are filled and sealed to achieve the purpose of sealing.
