PTFE Lined 45° Elbow

  • Steel frame : ASTM A234 grade WPB, in compliance with ANSI B16.28
  • Steel bend: according to SCH 40.
  • Flange: ASTM A105, in compliance with ANSI B16.5/class 150lbs; JIS 10k or DIN is also available on request.
  • Standard: two fixed flanges; one loose flanges and one fixed flanges or two loose flanges is on request.

1. Range
1.1 This specification is applicable for PTFE lined pipes and fittings used for transmitting corrosive fluid. The content includes construction materials, size and test procedure of standards.
1.2 The content includes national standard 10KG level, ANSI150LBS and JIS10K specification etc.

2.3 Iron parts
2.3.1 Pipes and fittings
  Pipes and fittings are made of welded or seamless steel pipes of iron parts. And the thickness is decided by international standards and customers' requirements.

  Flanges are made according to any specification of international standard or ANSI150LBS or JIS10K.

3.2 Vent holes
  Every pipe or fitting is equipped with vent holes to release gas between liners and iron parts. Each pipe shall at least have two vent holes of 0.12″(3mm) in diameter, located at flange faces of two ends, 2″(50mm) ; each fitting shall also at least have two vent holes; and reducing flange does not have any vent hole.
 
4. Detection requirements
4.1 Hydraulic test Interior
  pressure test will be operated at 150% of maximum work pressure. Total pressure can be reached within one minute and kept for 3 minutes.
   
4.2 Pinhole test
  The test shall be performed with high voltage equipment (10,000 V) that shall not be destructive. After the current is connected, if any spark is produced from the probe or any pinhole warming sound is made by the detector, it means there is defect in the liner and thereby this part shall not pass quality inspection.
   
4.3 Visual inspection and appearance paint brush
  The surface shall not have any bubble, pinhole or other defects. All defects shall be fixed before shipment. After visual inspection, an epoxy resin base coat shall be coated outside the pipes and fittings.
 
5. Storage, transportation and confirmation
Use wooden plate to protect lining face of flanges at each end. Therefore products will not be damaged during normal transportation. 6. Pipe fittings A value specification
