Vent holes |
Every pipe or fitting is equipped with vent holes to release gas between liners and iron parts. Each pipe shall at least have two vent holes of 0.12″(3mm) in diameter, located at flange faces of two ends, 2″(50mm) ; each fitting shall also at least have two vent holes; and reducing flange does not have any vent hole. |

4. Detection requirements |
4.1 |
Hydraulic test Interior |
pressure test will be operated at 150% of maximum work pressure. Total pressure can be reached within one minute and kept for 3 minutes. |
4.2 |
Pinhole test |
The test shall be performed with high voltage equipment (10,000 V) that shall not be destructive. After the current is connected, if any spark is produced from the probe or any pinhole warming sound is made by the detector, it means there is defect in the liner and thereby this part shall not pass quality inspection. |
4.3 |
Visual inspection and appearance paint brush |
The surface shall not have any bubble, pinhole or other defects. All defects shall be fixed before shipment. After visual inspection, an epoxy resin base coat shall be coated outside the pipes and fittings. |
5. Storage, transportation and confirmation |
