Spring loaded dual disc wafer check valves
Dual Plate Wafer Check Valve is defined as a mechanical device that allows a one directional fluid's flow. Dual Plate Wafer Check Valves work through a disc with a spring that opens when the fluid flows in regular direction; and, when the fluid returns, the spring closes the disc to avoid the passage of the fluid.
The most appropriate application of this valve is to absorb backpressure and its consequences, as well as irrigation residues. The design in Walworth's Dual Plate Wafer Check Valves offer a lot of advantages in comparison with other check valves. Their compact size allows it to work as efficiently as any other.
WALWORTH offers the majority of the known and used materials in this product line, including but not limited to:
WALWORTH offers a great variety of interior materials, including but not limited to the list published in API-600. Additional internal materials are available as high resistance steels, stainless steels, high nickel alloys (Monel, Inconel, Incoloy, Hastelloy, etc), among others.
Design features
-Design in accordance to MSS-SP-594.
-Compact body with a design piece type Dual Plate Wafer Check Valve
-Patented spring that allows the soft closure of the disc as to prevent rupture and premature wear.
-Heavy work and corrosion resistant arrow.
-The two plates offer maximum resistance with the maximum time in open position.
-Total contact with metal-metal seats allow a tight seal with a minimal work pressure.
-Thrust pulleys to reduce forks friction and wear.
-Tests in accordance to API-598
